big byte was started by ryan lucia in may of 2011. after a strong and successful twelve years in sales and sales management, ryan decided to start working for himself. entrepreneurship is in his blood. his father started two successful businesses and his brother is also a successful business owner. ryan started to learn computer skills at a very young age when his mother, a school teacher, would bring home her classroom apple iie during the summer for him to figure out how all the software worked. his love for computers, technology, gadgets and understanding how things work built over the years. as a child he enjoyed taking apart his toys to learn how they worked, and then he’d put them back together, sometimes with upgrades. later he learned to build computers with his friend, and became the unofficial computer tech for his fraternity brothers and football teammates in college. through his career as a salesman and manager he has always been a proponent of technology use (from basic
