founded in may 2014, big rock educational services (bres), llc works directly with school leadership teams to collaboratively identify, prioritize, and implement effective school systems referred to as "big rocks" aimed at increasing student achievement. bres founders believe every student should have the opportunity to achieve success and schools that prioritize and implement the right systems can be high performing. co-founders matt khirallah and scott hudnor worked together previously to open and co-lead two successful urban college prep campuses in september 2010 – may 2013. they bring both their wealth of joint experience as well as their individual knowledge bases to this consulting firm dedicated to effecting change alongside k-12 school leaders, districts and charter organizations. working through a collaborative and careful diagnostic and follow-up hands-on consulting process, matt and scott are dedicated to supporting campus leaders in realizing their visions for excellence
