the big secret clothing company was founded in 1991 as a wholesale, manufacturing and design jeanswear company supplying the likes of french connection, river island, reiss, ted baker and duffer of st george with own label jeans before opening as a standalone retail outlet in brighton in 1994. it quickly expanded throughout the south of england opening what have subsequently become known as "pop up shops" taking advantage of short term leases to get high street positions at back street prices. being at the sharp end of retail keeps you on your toes and encourages creativity but none of it would have happened without the great team of people who helped build and maintain the business and make it such a fun place to work. thank-you everyone :)
