Big Bad Blues Band

pure acoustic blues inspired by travels through the southern states of the us, the big bad blues band's informal and relaxed style of unplugged front porch blues delivers something a little different and engaging. using harmonica, resonator, slide and acoustic guitars accompanied by acoustic bass and percussion to create an authentic sound, the big bad blues band play the music of juke joints of mississippi and the night clubs of chicago. the big bad blues band first hit the road in 2019, and in january 2020 they released the south bank sessions recorded at young thugs studios in york featuring their popular version of the blues classic “bottle up & go” which has featured on several streaming playlists. the covid-19 pandemic forced a short break, but with the easing of restrictions in the summer of 2021, the band have been back on the road again, playing small intimate pop-up shows entertaining audiences outside cafes and bars, alongside appearances at festivals and venue
