Big Bear Mentors

big bear mentors fill a gap many first-generation students face. these students often have minimal exposure to what college is, and likely do not have a true understanding of all its benefits, nor what they need to do to get there. the mentors of this program lived through these same challenges as first-generation students themselves, and are now a resource for these younger students. big bear mentors demonstrate opportunities of a higher education. with diverse educational backgrounds and careers, our mentors aim to educate, support, and motivate.
