Bignity Ventures
bignity was formed out of my desire to use innovations in technology to help reduce the stigma associated with special needs, to provide a fun, multi-sensory approach to speech and language, and to provide a forum for community members to learn and connect. the ipad/tablet app is in the early stages of development. the app is focused on the speech and language development skills most difficult for children and teens with disabilities. i am presently in the seed round with investors and looking towards attracting additional investors. simultaneously, the bignity website will be launching in about two weeks. bignity is dedicated to all things special needs, with an aim to become the huffington post of the special needs world. we have gathered some fabulous writers who specialize in various aspects of special needs- from special educators, to deaf educators, to parents and therapists. in addition, we will be highlighting some key players in the field via video interviews that will be post
