Bike Walk Connecticut

we're working to make connecticut a better place to bike and walk. history since 2000, an association of agencies and individuals known as the central connecticut bicycle alliance has operated a bike to work program in the central connecticut region. after five years of growth, the time was right to create a formal organization that could can keep the bike to work program vital and take it to the next level. in addition, that plan was for the ccba to become an advocate for bike-friendly facilities and policies in central connecticut that will benefit all bicyclists, both recreational riders and commuters, and become an advocate for all cyclists in central connecticut. the ccba received 501(c)(3) status in january 2006. in april 2010, the central connecticut bicycle alliance changed its name to bike walk connecticut.
