Bimrs

bimrs is a non-profit association of independent bmw service professionals dedicated to education and training. bimrs was originally founded as the international association of independent bmw service professionals (iaibmwsp), meeting for the first time in october, 1997. at that time, about 25 independent bmw shop owners and technicians gathered to discuss technical issues pertaining to bmws. as factory repair information was then difficult to obtain, pooled resources were essential to our futures. today, bimrs members continue to dedicate their energies to education through regional meetings and seminars. the annual meeting, usually in october, affords us the opportunity to get together and share what we have learned during the past year. in addition, the factory now offers us more direct technical support, and sends representatives to our gatherings as well. in 2018, bimrs has over 200 member shops around the world. and we feel, more than ever, that not only are many minds better
