founded in 2018, bin shift specialises in designing awesome bins for user-friendly, indoor waste separation / resource recovery and delivers inspiring and engaging education to empower users to make the shift. about our founder: carole gordon is a south australian mother of two on a mission to save the planet, one bin at a time! combining her unique skillsets and passions, carole created bin shift, a 100% local business that exists to shift waste disposal habits from unsustainable to sustainable! after implementing waste separation at home, carole was ecstatic the first day that her household landfill bin didn’t need to go out for kerbside collection. now, bin shift customers are sharing that same experience and feeling great about it! carole has over 12 years’ experience in commercial design and advocating sustainability across the design & construction, waste management and education sectors. she is currently completing a bachelor of innovation and entrepreneurship at the university
