bind fire (bf) is a newly established startup company aimed at improving the engineering solutions in use for gaseous fire suppression systems (“gfss”) covered by nfpa 2001 standards. on the strength of their previous experience, bf members saw the opportunity to seek new technological spaces in a field traditionally characterized by a low degree of innovation, as almost all the manufacturers continue to propose gfss using the same hardware architecture developed in the 80's for the old generation extinguishing agents. the research and test carried out by bf led to the identification of a specific point of the current gfss susceptible to a significant technological improvement, namely the discharge valve that is the core of the gfss, as performance and cost-effectiveness of the overall gfss ultimately depend on its constructive complexity. the results of such research and testing have allowed bf to acquire a wide portfolio of ip rights covering innovative "full bore" valves and not wi
