biogas international limited, a limited liability company was incorporated in kenya in the year 2011 with kenyan directors and operates from karen in nairobi. rather than a mere cooking solution, flexi biogas has been developed more as an off-grid energy solution rural domestic thermal energy solution & tool for the millions of rural homesteads challenged with a basic commodity and human right, cooking fuel. combined with solar voltaic, one has a total off grid energy solution, and an instant road out of poverty. we have spent more than 15 years in research and development, and our products have gone through all product development stages that are necessary before commercialization. most of our products comprise locally available off the shelf components and can be assembled by any local technician. we have designed our offices as an eco resource centre (erc), where we also design appropriate technology simple tools in the aim of uplifting the livelihoods of mainly the common man.
