biogastec nv is an energetic belgian company founded in 2005 that builds and manages its own biogas installations. biogastec is responsible for a proper operation of these installations in which the treatment of various types of organic waste is a main objective. biogastec manages six of its own biogas installations, representing a total green electricity production capacity of 26 mw or an equivalent of 50.000 households (2019), processing up to approximately 500.000 tonnes of biological organic waste, manure and energy crops annually. the end products are water for re-use and an organic soil fertilizer used in agriculture. the daily operation of the installations is carried out by an enthusiastic team of operators who are continuously supported from the head office in gentbrugge. in this way, the biogas installations always run with optimal efficiency. furthermore biogastec also delivers energy projects (chp projects, orc technology, steam boilers, …) tailored to the customer’s need
