who are we? we are biogas entrepreneurs and companies who work to make biogas accessible in africa but struggle to compete with foreign aid projects. missing regulation and coordination of aid involvement lead to difficult conditions for the private sector and a high risk of being outcompeted. what is the problem? especially in africa, foreign donors get involved in biogas programs and projects - to the disadvantage of local businesses, who cannot compete with free or highly subsidized biogas systems. what's our motivation? we want to make biogas successful because it is a magical solution for households and institutions. however, as the private sector, we need a reliable environment to protect us from market distortion and unfair competition. what is our plan? together will all private entities in the biogas sector; we want to raise awareness for the need for transparent and fair rules in the industry - including a limitation and strict regulation of foreign aid.
