our purpose the great outdoors. we sure do love it! the sun, fresh air, being with nature – it all simply makes us come alive. but this modern, technology-driven lifestyle is making nature less and less accessible. there is clearly a growing tension between the natural and unnatural. indeed, never in human history have we spent so much time indoors, and nature has never been further away. growing populations, sprawling cities, even climate change are slowly disconnecting humans and nature. we need the great indoors to be as healthy and invigorating as the wilderness, the lakes, the mountains, and the grasslands of the great outdoors. yet nature is needy. nature needs to be mowed, raked, trimmed, planted, watered, and fed. when we are engaged in these activities, we somehow feel better. we feel engaged. we feel refreshed. but it’s work – often hard work. and we are busy. too busy. we need a realistic solution. we need nature to be easy – convenient. nature needs an upgra
