Biotap Connection

biotap was born out of the initiative of a group of scientists. as a melting pot of culture, personalities, and interests, we realize how hard it can be to make new connections or friends among our peers. taking into account that most of the social events dedicated to science are conferences or centered on key-note speakers, it can be hard to break the ice with others due to the “formal” environment. this is why we decided to give fate a gentle nudge and create an approachable social platform where we are all able to meet like-minded peers to relax and have rich conversations. any of our events can lead to new ideas, friendships or just a nice break away from the lab. so join us for one (or many!) of our events and you will always leave having gained something out of it!
