at biothrust, we provide solutions to make sustainable fuels for aviation, framed in the water, food and energy nexus. the demand for these three essentials is rising driven by the increase of world population. water is essential for life, and it is a scarce resource needed for agriculture and the exploration of fossil fuels. similarly, the production of biofuels requires extensive use of water. our business is to ensure that the production of biofuels is sustainable thus, we provide deep tech solutions to the harvesting and water reuse within the algae growth processes. algae are a part of the solution for this “hair on fire problem” because they can be used as food and feed, produce oils for energy, and are able to clean wastewaters. our startup project was created during the entrepreneur first (ef) 3rd paris cohort. ef is the world's leading talent investor and has helped so far 2,000+ people create 200+ companies, worth a combined $2bn
