birchwood community high school provides quality education for learners aged 11-19 in the birchwood, warrington and it's surrounding areas.our school motto is ‘pride in our school’ and given our achievements in recent years, we feel the birchwood community has a local school with a national reputation of which it can be justifiably proud. achieving business & enterprise college status has enabled us to provide industry standard resources for learners; to encourage a professional attitude and to develop enterprise capabilities and employability skills in all our learners. our school is committed to ensuring that all learners in all departments have access to a broad and balanced curriculum supporting them to achieve the highest possible standards in every subject. in september 2004 we became a training school which accredits us to provide a wide range of training opportunities for students wishing to become teachers as well as professional development opportunities for existing teachers
