welcome to bird mountain creations, located in the foothills of the beautiful blue ridge mountains. started in 2005, all items are designed and created by lou and pat lorenz. from silversmithing to yarn spinning, many techniques are used to make our wearable art pieces. gemstones, pearls, crystals, silver, copper, natural fibers, recycled and repurposed components make up our creations. from hand-dyed silk scarves, oversized handwoven shawls, knitted, crocheted and felted accessories to hand-forged copper bracelets, sterling rings and earrings, large statement gemstone necklaces and guitar pick earrings. we are always learning new skills and creating new designs.since most of our items are one-of-a-kind, it's difficult to keep our photos of available creations current. you can find more photos on facebook or contact us for more information.
