Birdworld

birdworld is one of the largest bird parks in the country, located on the surrey border with hampshire. visitors can explore 26 acres of aviaries and beautiful landscaped gardens which are home to over 1150 birds and 180 species from around the world. in addition to popular exhibits such as flamingo cove, the terry pratchett owl parliament and the silent forest aviaries, there are always lots of daily events hosted by the park's passionate education team including penguin feeding sessions, the discovery theatre show and a fantastic outdoor flying display (daily from easter to end october. weather permitting.) the park also is home to the underwater world aquarium and the jenny wren farm. birdworld is part of the parent company denys. e. head ltd, which also owns the adjoining forest lodge garden centre and garden style, a specialist plant nursery.
