bps birmingham aspire was formed to provide a support structure for young people with the aspirations of becoming top professionals in their city. tackling the skills deficit; retaining talent in birmingham; giving young people an understanding of their options; connecting the city – these are just some of the key ideas that aspire stands for. through networking events, training, career fairs, mentoring – all with a professional focus – aspire looks to bridge the gap between where birmingham’s young people are, and where they are going. we aim to bridge the gap between young people and employers, education and employment, providing continuity, support and professional development opportunities relevant to members whatever stage they’re at. we seek to create meaningful links between aspiring young professionals of the future and the city of birmingham, offering opportunities to build links with established professionals and organisations and experience the best this city has to offer.
