bitesize battles is a podcast dedicated to exploring history's most iconic periods through the battles that shaped them, told in short, bitesize stories. it is founded, run and voiced by me - andrew mackenzie. i have always been fascinated by history - the story of us, then. and it has always struck me that while history has been shaped by politics, culture, society, science, philosophy, disease, technology and much more, it has so often been war and savage battles which have proven to be history's hard, handbrake turns. the world we live in and the lives we lead have been shaped by human conflict over millennia, and i want to tell those stories in small, digestible episodes. i'm also serious about telling those stories for free - everyone should be able to access history without paying for it. but i can only do so if wonderful people like you support us. so please consider donating to the bitesize battles foundation which directly supports the podcast, and check out our merchan
