black dolls matter®, llc was formed in 2019 as an online retailer of dolls, doll clothing, and accessories. black dolls matter began in 2014 as a social media campaign to build self-esteem, encourage self-love, and nurture positive self-image in black adults and children. in the five years since our founding, we have become an emerging brand and global movement. our website, social media pages, and facebook group unite to cultivate a positive impact on how african americans see themselves, and well as how their community is perceived in the world.
