black duck, llc is raising capital to open black duck film & cocktail room - a state-of-the-art digital venue for people who enjoy great flicks, a welcoming atmosphere and handcrafted cocktails, but not the cost or pretense of other film houses and speakeasies. it will offer specialty, second-run and cult classic films that the bartenders will pair with a perfect cocktail - all at a competitive price. our mission is to be the most successful theater in cleveland by offering a welcoming atmosphere, great flicks and handcrafted spirits at competitive prices. we also seek to change the general opinion of the city of cleveland by endowing a smart percentage of the profits to a charitable foundation that makes grants to those in a position to positively impact residents' attitude regarding the city.
