Black Girl Environmentalist

black girl environmentalist is an intergenerational community of black girls, womxn and non-binary environmentalists. a supportive community, black girl environmentalist exists as a vital space for underrepresented voices in the mainstream environmental movement to be centered, rather than sidelined. we are grounded by the values of environmental justice and understand that there is no such thing as a just climate future that doesn’t center our unique lived experiences and knowledge systems. we are committed to amplifying the voices of all those fighting to protect our planet and strive to create a movement made in the image of all of us. ig: @blackgirlenvironmentalist
