black ivy events, inc. is a private company that caters to the social, professional and civic interests of alumni of color from the eight ivy league institutions. our dynamic events bring together an exceptional community of diverse professionals. hundreds of alumni are represented across a range of industries and ages. our mission is to leverage and enhance the network of diverse ivy league alumni. the company was founded in early 2009 by tiffani scott, a graduate of brown university and nyu stern school of business, to address the shortage of social opportunities for diverse ivy league alumni to connect and build their professional networks. ms. scott also serves on the executive committee of brown university’s inman page black alumni council (ipc) and chaired the committee to plan a monumental black alumni reunion on brown university’s campus in 2010.
