Black Medical Leaders of Tomorrow

black medical leaders of tomorrow (bmlt) is a club dedicated to providing students of visible minorities with resources to aid in their journey to becoming medical professionals. some of the supports provided by this club include those centered around academic success, as well as non-academic extracurriculars such as volunteer and job opportunities in members field(s) of interest, mcat and medical school admissions support, and much more. bmlt is a part of the waterloo chapter of u of t's community of support (cos) and falls in line with the goals and initiatives of the cos community: to assist racialized individuals pursuing a career in medicine by developing skills such as advocacy, altruism, and academic excellence, etc. to make them better candidates for the healthcare field. furthermore, as cos is expanding its resources to include students looking to enter other health professional programs including dentistry, medical radiation sciences, nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy,
