at black river, we believe that the best work comes from those who are passionate about what they do. black river is a 100% skater-owned and operated company. we take pride knowing that the boards we are designing, pressing, sanding and selling are going to go into the hands of our fellow rippers. made by hand: all black river products are made completely from scratch. we take the time to press, cut, sand and finish every board by hand. we take extreme pride in what we do and pay close attention to every detail. because they are hand-made, every board is unique and no board is perfect; each piece of art we create is slightly different. we feel confident that doing it "the old fashioned way" is the right way and no one does what we do better.
