black woman’s renaissance is a new podcast honoring black women who are making great strides in the midst of unique obstacles we face. we are witnessing a fervent period of cultural, artistic, political and economic “rebirth” never seen in america. in our midst, is a cadre of influencers approaching their full potential beyond our prescribed limitations. the black woman’s renaissance heralds women who have propelled to the top of just about every genre. this podcast will not only feature notable sheros with incredible accomplishments that we all know and love but also less known sista’s who are on the daily grind making waves in their communities. bwr will be a platform for women from down the street as well as women who have to have “their people contact our people”. each expose’ will feature untold stories about our sheros’ accomplishments and the real stories of challenges they faced. we will discuss how we can apply their formulas of success to propel each of us forward.
