Black Women Code
black women code is a tech education company providing coding, ux design, digital marketing and product management workshops. we are a start-up partner company of driven accelerator group inc. a international non-profit organization leading tech education to underrepresented women, children and youth. our goal is to increase the number of women and people of colour creating and innovating in the tech space. since 2015, we’ve taught over 350 adults and children through our tech spark and driven start-ups programs across the greater toronto area. we’ve partnered with many notable organization to bring our programs to life including, the ontario trillium foundation, google, united way toronto, bmo, york university and the (harriet) tubman institute. our big audacious goal is to educate 20,000 women and children by the year 2020. our mission is to empower and elevate black women through tech education.
