blackbinder is an app available for ipads created to bring a revolutionary change to the world of music scores: the automatic scroll. our goal is that musicians can study, rehearse and perform with a full-fledged app, improving upon all the features most other advanced apps have, and incorporating a radical change: you can see the sheet music flowing in front of you, never having to turn a page again while you perform. our algorithm transform pages of scores into a continuous flow that adapts to the music tempo, scrolling as you play your instrument. yes, it is very much like a teleprompter, but with a whole set of additional features. furthermore, blackbinder provides a piracy-free end-to-end distribution environment by which publishers and composers can sell and control the lifecycle of their music. this is in fact a huge change from pdfs. the big advantage is that you no longer work with printed sheet music, nor pdf-based apps, but with digital scores in a revolutionary forma
