Blackpool Scouts

scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. but we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges. we have 22 groups and cover almost all of blackpool and we are one of 8 districts who make up the county of west lancashire scouts. we cater for young people aged 5 upwards. without our groups we wouldn’t have a district and we are here to support, provide training, put on events and much more. we truly believe that scouting is needed more in today’s society than ever before. we believe we help to achieve greater social cohesion, happy resilient citizens, more civic participation and improved social mobility.
