norways largest multicultural magazine, since 2007. blend (formerly named x-plosiv) started as a webmagazine in january 2007. prior to this blend (x-plosiv) was the first multicultural magazine, published from 1995-1998. blend was founded by sisters mahmona khan and shazia sarwar. khan was chief editor from 2007-2009, while sarwar was co-editor. january 2010 sarwar took over as chief editor and president of the board. blend voices the multifaceted opinions of the minorities in norway. the desi community has been blends main readership. this however changed in 2010, when blend opted to reach a wider minority-audience. norwegians from every background read blend. october 3. 2010 x-plosiv changed its name to blend. at the same time blend came out with its first printed special edition. blend awards are arranged each year (since 2007). the awards are achievement awards given to norwegians of pakistani descent. the reach of the awards were broadend in 2010 when the new "blend of the year" w
