blhog is a regional and language-based social network and communal blogging platform. members belong to communities based on region and spoken language, i.e. taiwan english and 台灣 中文. having the extra criteria of language makes the content of each post it more relevant to the members of that community. for each community you join, you have a separate set of personal pages which contains all your posts in that community. joining communities of different languages is great if you are bilingual or want to learn a new language. posts are made in blog-style format and various multimedia can be embedded, so readers get more substantial content. posts are encouraged to have a public status so the community can gain as a whole (as with traditional blogging), but all posts can be set to friends-only status (as with a social network).there are seven categories of posts: blogs (diary-like posts), directory (reviews and listings), market (buy & sell ads), events, language (language exchange wanted
