mr. waqar yunus completed his studies from madrassa a noor for the blind pietermaritzburg, south africa in the field of islamic education and assistive technology. he came to pakistan in the year 2013 and started teaching arabic braille and assistive technology in different educational institutions. however, during his career as a teacher, he found that resources were not sufficient, and the technology required to support the blind was not implemented in any of the institutions in pakistan, particularly in karachi. although, there were many schools and institutes functioning in the city, however, adequate resources such as books and literature in braille were not available. moreover, the educational system of these schools was not at all satisfactory, and none of them were able to promote the blind to move forward in all aspects of their life. hence, taking into account the deteriorating conditions of the school. mr. waqar yunus decided to direct his focus towards this important sphere
