we are a nonprofit foundation that is dedicated to improving the life of the visually impaired and blind through the creation of a community that understands their unique needs. we believe everyone needs a community of support to help us reach our highest potential and the blind and visually impaired are no different. unfortunately, many of us do not understand how to support the blind and they end up living in our proverbial blind spots. the mission of blind spot is to educate the community on ways to be inclusive, on the potential of those who are blind, and ultimately create lasting connections that enrich the lives of the sighted and the impaired. we do this through education and immersion experiences. we believe that together we can all celebrate the unique characteristics of one another and really see the potential that each person brings. when we all collectively work together, the world is a better place for all.
