Black Lives Matter Seacoast

blm seacoast was formed in july 2020 by 3 seacoast community members. following the killing of george floyd, we were motivated to make a change in our communities. our purpose is to dismantle anti-blackness, fight against racial injustices and police brutality. this includes strafford & rockingham counties of new hampshire, essex county of massachusetts, and york county of maine. blm seacoast is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. blm seacoast is 100% black-led organization. we consist of committees with volunteers of all ethnicities, genders, and cultures. our organization strives to be an anti-oppressive organization, which is truly representative of our community and where our community must strive to be. goals of blm seacoast: provide affinity spaces for black and bipoc youth nurture youth leadership and foster the voice of the next generation support the black and bipoc community through mutual aid projects (food drives, scholarships, etc.) promote black-owned businesses demand an inv
