bloquefapim (blof) is a non-profit organization under the 1901 french association decree. it was set up as an empowerment vehicle for african young adults in france to strive for excellence through personal development, cultural and social programmes. the word ‘bloquefapim’, coined from two words ‘bloque’, the french word for concrete blocks and ‘fapim’, a ghanaian/akan word for foundation, refers to a solid foundation. it's all about equipping african youth with the skills they need in order to thrive in the face of challenges and build on solid foundation. at blof, we inspire, challenge and support african youth to maximize their individual and collective impact and strive to be their best in their various and unique areas of competence. blof is therefore a catalyst for change and greater impact through focused investment in the african immigrant youth and descendants of immigrants. among blof’s flagship events is the annual young graduates and professionals seminar (ygps) w
