blossoming birth services is owned and operated by stephanie gordon cd(dona), pes, hchd, dfb. stephanie is a certified dona international® and hypnobabies® birth doula. she is also a pbi™ certified placenta encapsulation specialist. in her latest quest for supporting women's health, stephanie has become certified as both a dancing for birth™ and zumba® instructor. stephanie has a bachelor’s degree from northern illinois university in early childhood education and is currently pursuing a masters degree from the midwest college of oriental medicine and acupuncture, where she is focusing her studies on women’s health and pediatrics. stephanie's passions include natural living, sustainability, and empowering individuals and community. she is honored and humbled to attend women and their partners during their sacred journey of birth. stephanie attends both hospital and home births. she has a daughter who was born at home in a peaceful, natural, loving manner.
