bournemouth musical theatre (bmt) productions is a fresh, dynamic organisation rooted in a love for musical theatre. making use of both traditional and more innovative performance spaces, we perform a diverse range of productions chosen to entertain the public whilst challenging the boundaries of local theatre. bmtp aims to be the premier amateur musical theatre company on the south coast; striving for excellence in music, dance and drama. by establishing a vehicle for the nurture and development of local talent, our goal is to promote musical theatre as a unique art form. in doing so we will expand the appreciation of this genre and enrich the local community.
