BPM - Employment Development Program

bpm is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization based in baltimore, maryland. bpm was established in 1991 to address the social, economic, and political awareness needs of the african-american community. to ensure that baltimore's economy is thriving, residents must have access to training and education that leads to jobs with family-sustaining wages. thus, workforce development is the major focus of bpm's hire black baltimore. hire black baltimore (hbb) is an education and networking full-service event, helping organizations achieve their goals by socializing employment opportunities to black men and women looking to enter or re-enter the workforce; aspiring to enhance their careers; and/or desiring to attain an executive position. hbb will provide attendees with job search and network activities; resume writing and printing onsite; interview coaching; job application assistance; and professional development workshops by workforce development facilitators.
