founded in 2017; b-preg composite & textile inc. design & develop & manufacture natural fiber-reinforced thermoplastic ud prepregs in continuous form. we are focused and specialized "only" on natural fiber reinforced composites which we believe future lies in. we spend all of our effort to create sustainable, cost-effective biocomposites with satisfactory mechanical properties and replace man-made solutions on the market. our recent novel product "ud-flax" is polypropylene organosheet having aligned flax fibers inside and thus performing unique mechanical and acoustical properties. results of long-standing research in laboratory and recent case studies in industry have confirmed that 1 - 1.5 mm thick laminates from ud-flax achieve quite similar or even better mechanical performance compared to glass-mat-reinforced thermoplastics (gmt). moreover; 2 - 3 mm thick laminates from ud-flax performs up to 40 db sound transmission loss which is far better insulation/weight performance than ep
