the idea of the “british columbia college of management” (bccm) was conceived by a group of highly experienced and seasoned professionals from the hotel and education industries, who observed that there is a definite need for an institute that can address the glaring shortage of qualified professionals for hospitality and service-oriented industries. they conceptualized the setup of this training institute on seeing the constant struggle of hr departments at the top mncs in their pursuit of finding the right service professionals for various positions in their companies. as bccm is run by industry professionals, it has a different approach to training. we not only teach the essential academic skills but we also train, guide and coach the students through various interactive sessions with multiple industry professionals. we aim to fill the gap between academics and the real world.
