build a bot robotics is a non-profit organization called build a bot robotics. we teach robotics to elementary and middle schoolers using the lego mindstorms ev3 system. students that attend our classes work in teams to learn how to engineer robots for certain tasks, how to build programs, and even integrate sensors into the robots to achieve specialized tasks. in each session, we have a small competition amongst the teams. this is usually arranged similarly to an obstacle course where there are “missions”, each awarding the team a certain amount of points. we want to introduce as many people as we can to the world of stem, inspiring the next generation of technological leaders. as an organization, we aim to help charities that were created to help society. because of this belief, we do not take any money from our kids. all proceeds go directly to the cystic fibrosis foundation. the cystic fibrosis foundation is a charity aimed to help the research and development of medications and t
