building assets is a global non-profit volunteer organization that develops viable solutions to reduce and mitigate conflict and the resulting dependencies by working to create self-reliant communities. we believe the evidence is clear that the most effective way to help build peace is through the provision of education and skills development for girls. we strongly believe in this commitment – that a girls’ education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of war and poverty. we work with our local partners to provide viable solutions with a focus on gender equality, justice and peace. a girl living in a conflict-affected area is 90 % more likely to be out of secondary school than her counterparts living in areas without unrest. building assets will work with local partners to provide safe and peaceful environments for young girl children to affected by conflict to study and learn beyond primary school. by providing a safe environment from primary to high school young girl c
