we are a wholesale decorative surfacing marketing company. our mission is to distribute quality brand name products while providing service and value that exceeds our customers' highest expectations. as an employee owned company, we operate our business with the highest integrity, manage our assets, and maximize our team’s fullest potential. our success will be accomplished by listening, communicating, and leading change. ultimately, our customers determine if we are fulfilling our mission. bpi was founded by the late alexander r. hill. our first location was opened in memphis, tn in 1963 with 8 employees in a 7,500 square-foot warehouse facility. bpi was a wholesale distributor of formica-brand plastic laminate and kentile vinyl plastic floors. in the 1970's, 1980's and 1990's, bpi formed strategic, long-term relationships. we broadened product lines to include: hardwood flooring, mannington vinyl sheet flooring, american olean-brand ceramic tile and other surfacing products
