Building Bridges Education

building bridges is a non-profit organization that provides free english classes to children in china taught by americans fluent in english on a weekly basis. volunteers gain valuable experience working with younger children while having the opportunity to help others in need. in the course of a year, our organization has expanded teaching to korea, taught over 160 classes, formed 4 high school chapters, held 3 fundraisers, and has 85 volunteers. in july, building bridges attended yefa's ihssic where we gave a presentation about our organization, competing with 20 other student-led nonprofits. with an audience of 200+ people, building bridges received the most votes in the impact category across all teams at the conference, receiving a $500 grant.
