our story stretches far beyond where we are now, but the core of this journey has remained the same: we love books. after over 25 years in the book business, we have witnessed first-hand why the book industry has gained a bad reputation as recyclers. we can do better. our driving belief: a home for every book. book sustainability is possible, and we see a path forward to how the book industry can move to a zero waste future. through our book sustainability project, every book can be repaired, recycled, and renewed. currently, bulrushed is renewing its book recycling stream into sustainability made notebooks, made with own bulrushed paper®, paper made with recycled books. we are always excited to find partners who are love books, recycling, and innovation as much as we do.
