an innovation incubator hub: an open and thriving ecosystem; where a community of techpreneurs congregate, connect, collaborate, collate, code and create flourishing new technology ventures that address specific societal problems and meet market opportunities. buni is a kiswahili word for innovation; we encompass a startup hub, a tech museum and a tech media center. to spur the start-up culture across africa & to reframe the debate around technology, innovation and entrepreneurship in africa the concept of buniville is not a first of its kind in kenya it has been tried and successfully implemented with tremendous results through existing technology hubs that incubate startups. these include; ihub, m-lab, nailab to name but a few. it is on their success that buniville is being built on but with numerous changes to adapt to the limitations of existing incubation centers. we invited techies, entrepreneurs, journalists, funders, scholars and designers to say what they would want to have in
