buraansh is a brand based out of the mountains of himachal pradesh that sells handmade, pure, authentic and natural edible and beauty products of the himalayas. we work with a number of women-led self help groups and collectives to preserve and share the traditional knowledge of these local communities. our bestselling products include - pure unheated mountain honey varieties, preservative-free fruit spreads, mountain tea blends and 100% natural beauty products like cold pressed apricot oil, apricot meal scrub and handmade soaps. this social enterprise was started by two like-minded friends (now married)- gautami and siddharth who quit their jobs as development professionals and returned to their hometown shimla. buraansh is not just a platform for rural himalayan products, it is a symbol of rich pahari culture and deep love for everything that the mountains have to offer. it came into existence with the philosophy of preserving this great culture and a mission to share this knowl
