bureau boom is a young design studio focused on the future. climate change forces us to reconsider the built environment. by 2020 all new buildings need to be energy neutral. bureau boom believes that this is not just about 'pasting' installations on a building, but that becoming energy neutral requires a more integral approach. designing is therefore based on the building's situation, program of requirements and energy design constraints. this approach is valid for new buildings as well as for renovation. __ bureau boom is een jong ontwerp bureau gefocust op de toekomst. klimaatverandering dwingt ons om op andere manier naar de bebouwde omgeving te kijken. voor 2020 is het nodig dat alle nieuwbouw energieneutraal wordt uitgevoerd. dit is niet een kwestie van installaties op het gebouw plakken, maar betreft een integrale aanpak die start bij het concept. ontwerpen is, volgens bureau boom, daarom gebaseerd op de situatie, het programma van eisen en de randvoorwaarden voor een slim energ
